Morii

Morii: The Weave of Now

Founded in 2019 in Gandhinagar, Morii has rapidly become a sought-after studio for collectors, architects and interior designers looking for textile artworks with cultural depth and contemporary nuance. Across 12 villages and more than 160 artisans, Morii brings together the traditional techniques of Rabari, Jat and Sujni embroidery, hand-block printing and natural dyeing, into a disciplined, architectural visual language.

Every piece is unique, crafted slowly, guided by hand and material, and conceived to enrich interiors with warmth and nuance. Committed to a zero-waste approach and ethical collaboration, Morii turns leftover fibers into richly layered works that feel both timeless and eccentrically modern.

Morii delivers commissions for bespoke works, each crafted through an intimate, iterative process that typically spans two to four months. The studio can also develop large-scale commissions, producing hundreds of unique pieces that share a unified material language while preserving the individuality of handcraft - transforming entire interiors through texture, pattern, and the presence of human touch.
